Headquartered in Berkeley, California, the Shamszad Group is a full-service, Bay Area real estate firm specializing in property management, investments, leasing, and tenant representation.  We manage operations and leasing for a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial investment properties and understand the varying needs and interests of individual owners and renters.  We strive to provide superior customer service to our clients and customers through unmatched diligence and loyalty.

A Bay Area native, David grew up in Oakland and attended the Urban School of San Francisco.  After graduating from Dartmouth College, David spent two years working with a rehabilitative youth treatment facility in Rhode Island, before returning to the Bay Area.  David worked with various educational ventures before beginning his career in real estate.  After several years at MRE Commercial, David founded the Shamszad Group in 2010.  In his free time, David commits himself to volunteering for various community improvement and youth advocacy organizations, including CASA.  He enjoys running and is a devoted fan of the Golden State Warriors.  David and his wife live in San Francisco with their dog, Bodie.

Originally from Eureka, CA, Andrea studied at UC Davis and San Francisco State University where she earned a degree in Business Entrepreneurship.  Before joining the Shamszad Group, Andrea worked in sales and marketing with Bay Area small businesses and non-profit agencies.  Andrea enjoys running, rock climbing and the outdoors and works to promote opportunities for urban and at risk youth to experience the outdoors through her involvement with Bay Area Wilderness Training.

Leslie adores the Bay Area and all its beauty, which is why it’s where she has spent the majority of her life. She was born in San Francisco, grew up in the bay area, and then attended college at San Francisco State University. After completing a business degree, with an emphasis in Marketing, Leslie pursued her interest in Real Estate and is amidst completion of her Real Estate Broker’s License. Her enthusiasm for real estate is an extension of her interest in interior design- she dabbles in furniture restoration and the buying and selling of vintage furniture. Leslie is an avid outdoors person and enjoys snow sports, hiking, horseback riding, camping, and cycling.

Born in Washington state, raised in Seattle, London, and Tokyo, Kenneth has a deep appreciation for unique individuals and beauty in the natural environment. A passion for travel was evident at an early age, and Kenneth has sought out experiences throughout the globe, traveling widely for pleasure and as a United States Air Force Veteran. As a sport enthusiast he plays soccer, runs, and loves a pick basketball game. Prior to joining The Shamszad Group, Kenneth earned a degree in Sociology from the University of North Texas, coordinated programs for the Boys and Girls Clubs, and worked in commercial real estate for a Dallas firm.
